The New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness is a membership organization consisting of organizations and individuals throughout New Mexico committed to the goal of housing everyone in safe, decent, affordable housing. The Coalition conducts a number of activities that relate to the goal of ending homelessness including: providing workshops and individual technical assistance to help agencies that help the homeless expand programs and use best practices, advocating for policies and funding at the local, state and national levels that will lead to more housing for homeless people, coordinating grant writing for the federal Continuum of Care grants and other grants, and coordinating data collection through the New Mexico Homeless Management Information System. The Coalition has four full-time staff members with a main office in Santa Fe and branch offices in Albuquerque and Las Cruces.
